FreeCycle ROCKS!!!
So, I've been looking for bunkbeds for my girls for about 3 months now, I have posted an add in my freecycle and no luck so far!
Last night a few gals in town needed a phone and an old webcam and some board games, I have all of those things so i will be taking them into town Friday to give to them! Then this morning a gal posts an add that she needs 2 twin beds and her boy's are tired of the bunkbeds! So, I responded that I would help her find the twin beds if I could maybe get my hands on the bunkbeds!!!
She wrote back and said, "you can have them, come pick them up while your in town friday and they are yours" WAHOOOOO, and even better yet, it is the kind that has the big bed on the bottom!!!!!!
I love fereecycle

I got 2 lazyboy recliners a few days ago. I also picked up some left over wood from someones house building project and it was enough to replace some of my floors. I got a whole truck full of garage sale leftovers that had TONS of clothes in it that would fit my dd, ds and dh!! i know i have gotten more but that tops my list! We also have a local selling board and i got my ds bunk bed there for $20! it was also the one with the double on the bottom.

I had to cancel my YMCA membership and was really missing using the treadmill. I checked prices on Craigslist and they were all out of my price range. I posted on FreeCycle and got a reply that the person's mother just bought one but needed it gone so she could remodel her house! Woo hoo!
Now I get to work out at home for free - no monthly fee, no gasoline used, no 1/2 drive each way to the Y.

I got rid of some of my raspberry plants that were growing in my garden. They were growing where they weren't supposed to be. I had a ton of them (like 40+ plants). The people were so happy to get them.
My friend got a huge amount of maternity clothes off freecycle. She is a larger lady and larger maternity clothes are impossible to find and they are expensive.Beak-1996, Toad-1998, and Q-1998

I am sometimes amazed at what people will take!
Proves there is a use for everything, I guess.
I also find homes for my baby plants via FreeCycle. When I start my veggies, I usually plant more than I'll need, to account for the possibility of non-germination or early failure. Typically, I end up with 2-3 plants of each variety, and I'll give 1 or 2 away.DH aka Mad Hen

lol, that reminds me, last month My Mom and I went to town to do our usually monthly shopping trip....I had picked up a double stainless steel kitchen sink from the freecycle that day in town and as my Daddy was helping us unload the truck he saw the kitchen sink and was laughing so hard he was crying!!
He said, (when he could talk again) "OMG you DID get everything AND the kitchen sink!!!"Proud wife to Randy
