Default Has anyone used a food pantry?

    Hello all,

I am sure as with everyone I am trying to be as frugal as I can be. My last option is going to a food pantry. I have never been to one before.

Do I need to bring any documentation with me?

Can you tell me what to expect?

    Thanks so much.

Some require proof of income, some don't ,if its state ran, chances are you will have to have a pc of mail with your adresse and name. How many in the household and what your hardship is.

I am not to good to admit I go to one! Of course the kids and I volunteer at the regular food bank here lol, so the volunteers get goods to!
I know that here I had to show my drivers licence and that was it, to my understanding the one here that the seniors do you have to bring a paycheck stub and our licence!
    Hope that helps!

You may need to bring an address of where you live, but other than that all i have had to do is sign my name and how many was in the home and address. Good luck if in doubt just call and ask them!

Here in PA if you go once to a certain one, the first time they require proof of ID and how much you make per month. After that they only require your ID since your already in the system.
