Thumbs up I am my Fathers Daughter!!!

So as badly as I don't want to do this, I have to sell my horses! We cannot afford them at this point.
When I was young I watched my Daddy trade things, bartering back and forth with people and always getting one heck of a deal too! He is gifted in this field!
And there has been many-o-time I have made some dang good trades myself, heck, half the time the hubby uses me to get deals for him!!!
So, I run the add that they are for sale and that I am interested in trades such as, cars, trucks, boats, go carts, ATVs!
And I have been of course wanting this Nintendo Wii for the whole family gift for Christmas! And not been able to afford the dang $600 for it!!
So, a gal responds to my add, wants both horses, gives me references and has a kid for the filly who is a kid lover, I have been talkin with her off and on for about a week!!
And here is the trade we came to agreement on......My mustang mare, filly and old horse trailer because they don't have one and I wont need one! For, a single seater go cart, aluminum fishing boat with mercury outboard motor and fish finder computer with trailer and titles, a Nintendo Wii gaming system still in the box and $1000.00 cash!!
Then hubby calls me a few minutes ago to see if I had finalized the trade and I told him what I had finished, he says, " Jesus, thats it, you are doing ALL the bartering from this point on"!!!! and even my Daddy was impressed!!

So I guess I did a good job!!! This means, I truly am, "My Fathers Daughter"!!!

That was my biggest concern, The one needs to be going to a woman, and the lil one needs to have kids in her life or she would go insane!! This gal has referals, has sent me pictures of her place and everything! I wanted my girls to go to a safe and happy home where they would be loved as much as I Love them!
Here they are I forgot to put up pictures!!

    They are smart mommy!

And bless you for making sure of referrals and all that. The best kind of animal owner thinks of things like how much they will be loved and how much they will enjoy their new life. I know I have always tried to make sure of that when very reluctantly rehoming pets that could no longer stay with me.

I have no idea of the monetary value of horses, but geez sounds like a fantastic barter! I'm sorry that you had to part with them though.
