Looking forward to 2009!
2008 has been a good year in some ways and a not-so-good year in others. For instance, we payed a whopping $868.92 off of our debt but we made over $11,000 worth of improvements to our home thus making our day to day living a better quality. While some might disagree with our priorities I have to say that I wouldn't have done it any other way.
I am really excited to start attacking my credit card debt in 2009. We have made all the improvements that we want to for the time being and can really start the debt snowball back up in January. Before joining FV I had always gotten the Christmas blues. Probably because there was never anything to look forward to in the new year. Now I have a lot of anticipation and excitement before me. I can't wait to jump in and start making a difference with my debt again. I guess I just wanted to say thank you to all of you in the Village. You are a constant support group and very encouraging. Here is hoping all of you out there enjoy the upcoming holidays and new year with many blessings.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

5. Continue paying down debt.

What a great accomplishment to have done that much to your home. Can't wait to hear how you do with your debt in 09. All the best as you work to accomplish that.

Good for you on your home improvements and the attitude of clamping down on debt in the new year. With that type of attitude, you will accomplish everything you want!

Not everyone agrees on priorities....if you are happy able to pay alittle more on your bills and make home improvements! go for it!
I am looking forward to 2009 not only to keep my bills in line, but I think a lot of baggage has been dropped and it will not be tainted with what if and how come....
I am 1/4 to my first goal in and 2009 I will be in the beginning of the 1/2 point.... 2010 hit first goal :-)

I think it was Bette Midler that said, "You should make your house feel like heaven, 'cause the rest of the world is hell!"
And I believe that. If your house is cozy and nice, you won't want to leave it as often... and that right there will save $$$.
Here's to a great 2009!
