Gotta love my kids
I have asked my daughter several times what she wants for Christmas. The only answer I get is a new hairbrush. She has also mentioned that she wants Pixo's but when I asked her last night she said just a hairbrush. She is 6.
While reading her bed time story she did mention that a new Junie B.Jones book would be nice. ( I already got that covered , and she doesn't know that).
My 3 yr old is a no brainer, she doesn't ever get whats going on. So it looks like my stress is all for nothing. I think I can manage to make all those dreams come true.
I was wondering , what is the weirdest thing your child has ever asked for on a wish list?

One year then 5yo dd asked for socks. This year my 7 yo ds asked Santa to bring his 5yo sister a Barbie. That was all he asked for. Makes me wonder if he knew that would melt my heart and get him better stuff than if he asked, lol.

2 yrs ago I brought DS to see Santa with his older cousins. They asked for tv's for their bedrooms, new ipods, etc. He asked for a shirt. Santa said "wow, you're a practical fella, aren't you?". He got the coolest shirt ever from santa!
Although this year he asked for sports related things (Boston College Football rug - he's getting) etc. and ... a doughnut maker because we don't have doughnuts often enough.Wife to DH

So far Wesley has asked for: a box of cereal, a Charles Schwab high yield investor's checking account, preperation H, any and every toy he sees on t.v., the Nuvaring and a red helicopter.
Guess which one he's getting?

Our son has had weird things on his wish list off and on since he was really little.
The short list -
A Blackhawk helicopter....a REAL one.
His bedtime to be changed to 30 minutes later or he wouldn't go to bed at all until the next Christmas.
A pretty bracelet and ring he seen at a store, which led to DH having the "those are for girls, not boys" talk.
A tin of butter cookies.
A week long trip to the inside of a volcano. (that was on his wish list to Santa when he was 7)

When my son was 6 he asked for baby back ribs that would be for just him to eat. Needless to say that is what he had for breakfast Christmas morning.

Ann- I just wanted to say what wonderful kids you have.
And Junie B Jones ( don't for get the B) is so cool.
I ask my daughter this year what would be the coolest thing to get for Christmas this year. She didn't hesitate in saying "a Junie B Jones journal". Then she thought and said "Well my girls ( her dolls) NEED pj's. Mom should I go with my want or their need"
So Santa is bring a Junie B Jones Journal. For her Birthday next month, I'll be making Pj's for her girls out of some of her favorite out grown clothes. I think she will be pleasantly surprised all around.
Have a wonderful ChirstmasLast edited by imagine; 12-11-2008 at 02:08 PM.

This year DD asked for parts to make a robot so she can make one to help me around the house ... I love that kid!
I don't remember what years, but one year she asked for a Christmas tree (we had one, when I reminded her of that, she shrugged and said, then I guess I'm done) One year she asked that her 'friends' in the orphanage she was in all get parents... that one brought a tear to my eye (for days)... Another year she asked that they all get presents. She doesn't really ask for anything for herself.Last edited by Lady_V; 12-11-2008 at 04:15 PM.
