Hello to all frugal-ites!
I was in search of a good, down to earth frugality centered board and Google sent me here! I am married with children and lots of pets. We live in a small town in the Southern states. We have always lived a frugal lifestyle and for 2009 have plans to ramp up our frugality to new levels to get rid of debt. I needed to find a place that shares my frugal ways of thinking because honestly the thought of how much we are cutting back in 2009 actually has me excited and most people would think I'm crazy, lol. There's gotta be somebody out there that understands!
I believe in staying stocked up, cooking from scratch, never wasting a thing and just abiding by alot of good old fashioned common sense. I look forward to participating on the board.

You will be so happy you found our little corner of the internet here! You can post the most frugal "crazy" ideas here and you'll be praised for sharing the ideas!
No one here will think you are nuts for keeping your heat at 37 degrees, handwashing your dishes in an inch of soapy water, canning your own veggies, or spinning your old dryer lint into yarn to make a sweater! Ok, the last one is a bit far fetched...but if yolu did it, you'd be praised for your frugal creativity!
