No good deed goes unpunished
Last night I was helping a buddy who is a little down on his luck with his car. The three hour repair I was planning turned in to an eight hour repair. It was a big enough job that I nearly ran out of beer. Nearly.
Anyway, I was working in the shop last night until 1:45, then came in FOR SUPPER which I had skipped thinking I would be done quicker. I was so congested I could barely breathe. I took a hot shower to warm up, since there is no heat in my shop. Then went to bed exhausted.
I woke up about 7:00, could barely breathe, still chilled, with a sore throat from breathing through my mouth all night. I guess I came down with a cold or something while I was in the garage.
GRRRRRRR...
But I fixed the car! Nice car too. Here's a picture of it when it came in yesterday afternoon.

Isn't it always the way! Hope you have a speedy recovery. I recommend hot showers. Breathing the steam can work wonders - at least temporarily.

All I noticed is the red mustang in the back ground. I had one of those up until 2 months ago. Had to sell it to pay the bills.
I'm stilling crying about it.
Sorry you feel like poo, get some rest I'm sure your friend appreciates your hard work.

Very nice! I hope you feel better soon!
Honestly though, the first thing I notice in the picture is how clean the shop is. I won't even venture in our garage. I am afraid of the mess. It could fall on my head, there could be something living in it, ect. I hired a teenager a couple of years back and emptied it completely and organized it for DH. It was only a couple of months before I was afraid to go back again.

Sorry you feel bad. My frugal solution for a cold is garlic tabs, Vit. C, and a spoon full of honey 3 times, per day (more often on the honey if the coughing just won't let up...but honey usually kicks it pretty quick for me). Has worked like a charm since I started doing it.
Man that car is SLICK! Is your friend Bo Duke?
