    Default My Baby Won!!!

    I am so excited. We just got back from a one-day trip, and when I checked our phone messages I found out that DD1 won two tickets to 'Disney on Ice' through the reading contest at our local library!!! I'm so proud of her!

    She'll be 5 in March and she's already reading!!!...and SHE WON! She read 17 books (easy readers, mind you) and I brought the form into the library a couple Fridays ago and filled in all the vouchers. The draw was on Friday evening.

    I'm thinking of buying one more ticket for me when I go to redeem the tickets at the box office. That way she, my huband and I can all go and watch the show. Since the showing is at 7 p.m., I'll probably get my parents to babysit DD2 who is 2 years old.

    She is!...and so am I!!! I'm not sure she fully understands who is going to be skating because when I mentioned that she'll see Mickey and his friends, she said 'Who's Mickey?'. I guess we have a few movies to watch so she'll be better aquainted with all the Disney characters.
