Need to take frugality on a whole new level
Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie on this site (as well as in the US) but I don't consider myself a "frugal novice". However, since my soon-to-be-husband and I just purchased a house, i need to kick it up a big notch!
I will mainly need info in the future on growing stuff and gardening, energy efficient ways to keep up a house.
I can share info on frugal cooking and recipes, baking tricks and DIY craft projects for kids and grown ups.
As for myself, I am a French Canadian from a close knit family that lives in the US. I am still going through some visa paperwork, therefore, I'm not yet on the american job market (but hopefully I can pick this up fairly soon) I love to cook and bake, I love reading and I'm the curious, self learning type. I do not have kids or pets yet but most of my time is to plan x-mas spendings and a wedding on a very tight budget that will occur in just over a month....so a bit stressed out but not out of control yet hehehehe
Anyways, glad to be part of this and I look forward to meet and share valued information with you all.
Keep it up!

to frugal village. Hubby (French Canadian) and I used to live on Conesus Lake before we moved to Michigan. We went through the immigration process. For us the work authorization came fairly quickly compared to permanent residency.

It's good you want to share frugal cooking, recipes and DIY...
I been working on bringing my frugality up to a higher level also.
My current war is with the electric bill, and the groceries.....Last edited by ladytoysdream; 12-17-2008 at 04:53 PM.
