    Red face I fell on the ice today....*wince*

    We are leaving today for our trip.....and I took my son to school to talk with his teacher. On the way out, I was holding my daughter....and down we went, smack on the ice. I landed on my left hip and side, protecting her, her face hit the ice and it's all scraped up on the left side of her face near her eye......I just hurt all over. The nurse and principle came running out and helped us. We are fine, I am just really, really sore!!!
    After riding in the car for 3 days I should be nice and stiff!!!

    oh, I drove right from the school to the chiropractor......and now I should be getting ready to leave.....I just can't seem to find the motivation!

    (we went down fast on the ice - i didn;t have chance to try and keep my balance, so that actually helped me not get hurt very much - i didnt; have time to stiffen up, I was "loose" when I hit the ice...)

    Ooooooh...... I feel your pain. Really! I fell this morning on the ice when I went out to feed the dog. I got part way up the hill and down I went, and slid the rest of the way down the hill and into the garage.

    Do you have time to soak in a hot tub? That might help. Have a wonderful journey! Merry Christmas!

    I fell on Monday trying to get the mail. I pulled in the driveway. Opened the door and boom.... fell right on my knee and backside. Hope you don't get to sore and take care.

    You could pick up some fresh ginger to help with any swelling, for you swallow small pill size pieces and for your daughter make a tea with it and use a gauze like a press on the swelled area's!

    I have done that more times than I care to think about! It has made me hate winter and I told dh that when we are old I will not live in a state that has 9 month winters I refuse!

    Ouch! Hope you are ok. I know even being careful, I've slipped. Last year I was going slow as a snail holding the rails going down the stairs and don't you know it, I slipped on the last step lol
    Back on the frugal bandwagon for the third time and hoping to slash my debt by the end of 11' and start saving again!
    No more CC debt except school debt.
