After today I know that I am Truly blessed!
As most of you know I am working out a trade for my horses and trailer, part of that trade was a Wii and cash
Today I was delivered those 2 things, I found Guitar Hero world tour for the Wii on sale for $99. brand new, which saverd me nearly $100. I picked up a bunch of other games and extra controllers for it, one game being "Cooking Mama" brand new still in the wrapper for free!
I had placed an add on craigslist a few weeks back looking for a game system for my kids for Christmas, my intention with this add was to aquire for an affordable price an older system as a starter for my youngest son!
Today, the outcome of that add was my husband picking up a brand new XBOX360 elite live bundle including 2 controllers and 5 games all brand new in their packaging! For Free!
As if this were not proof enough that I was blessed, I went to the DMV (I think we all know that alone can be hell) To get a transport permit for my horse trailer for the woman who will be taking it and my horses next week, normally these permits are at minimum $10. and the gal at the DMV felt giving I spose because I got the permit free!!
I can imagine, on Christmas morning, the scene at my home will be one of the "america's funniest home video" style, Kids screaming, jumping frantically with excitement they just cannot keep in! And my, video taping it, with tears of joy in my eyes the entire time!
The Angel of a man who gifted my Children the XBOX360 wrote us a story about why, it was filled with memories from his childhood, a beautiful letter and a beautiful card from a truly beautiful man!
I have to be the most incredibly happy AND bless woman on earth, and there are no words that could possibly express how Blessed I feel!!
Happy Holiday's to you all, may you all be as blessed as I

Aw cj thats just awesome. You should video your kids. They will be so freaked out! But I know that you are more excited than your kids. I would love to see that show. YOu go girl. You've done some really nice things for others recently. It's your gift for paying it forward.

What a fantastic story (about the XBox). That man is just one of the wonderful exaples of all that is right in this world. I know, many myself included, panic and tend to focus on what is wrong. But that man proves that humanity is alive and well. What an extraordinary thing to do.
I'm sure your children will be so amazed. But, if I can offer a suggestion? If your children are anything like my son, I would tell them where the XBox came from and include the letter than man wrote. I think that would be a better gift than the system itself. I know it would make a huge impact on my son, and increase his feelings of being blessed come Christmas morning.

Back on the frugal bandwagon for the third time and hoping to slash my debt by the end of 11' and start saving again!
No more CC debt except school debt.

What a lovely story. Just as Murphy has his days, there are the other kind of days that make up for it all. It makes me smile to think how excited everyone will be on Christmas. Merry Christmas!
