No more Christmas cookies, PLEASE
I swear to God if I eat another cookie, I'm going to explode. I know, walk away, just say no, eat a healthy snack before you go, etc. I have only myself to blame. I'm not even waiting until the new year; starting tomorrow there is no more junk. I'm not starting immediately because we're going to the family dinner tonight and I know there will be stuff there.
Has anyone else had too many Christmas cookies?!?!? Please tell me I'm not the only one.Mom to two crazy boys

I only made one batch for tonight, but they keep coming my way as "gifts".

None here. No one made any this year, don't know why that happened. So, I'm baking some brownies right now instead.

I only made a batch of gingersnaps and chocolate chips cookies. I knew we would eat way too many if I made more.

No cookies here yet.
I did make pumpkin bread for tomorrow for my dish to pass at the family meal.
I also made a pumpkin cake with the leftover pumpkin and hubby who wasn't thrilled with the looks of it, has managed to eat about 1/2 of it by himself since noon. The recipe is for a rolled up cake with frosting, but I did not have any cream cheese to finish it. So it's just a thin flat cake. It would have have made a good roll......it came out of the pan perfect.
It's my next project when I pull pumpkin out of the freezer

I've had my hand in the cookie tin all day! So I'm feeling your pain! DH was suppose to take it to work to get it out of the house, but he didn't take it, so I've been snacking on them all day! Then, the mail came and my SIL in Seattle sent another HUGE box of cookies, so now I have new cookies to try! Ugh, I'm gonna be sick before Santa comes!

I haven't been eating them, but I'm sick of making and looking at them!! I made up a bunch of cookie trays yesterday, and now I have a huge one sitting out for when my family arrives. For some reason, they don't taste as good when you are the one who put all the time and labour into them!!

I am so sick of sweets. The only thing that I have made this season is peanutbutter candy...one batch for my dds' employee party & one batch for us...then came 4 houseape birthdays (cake & ice cream)...then my parents came over & we had our christmas party with them -my mom brought fudge, ribbon salad, trash(hard vanilla w/ pretzles, nuts, mini ritz etc) & animal cookies.....then a friend from church brought over gingerbread cookies. All were wonderful, thoughtful gifts...but I am totally sugared out. While at Walgreens on an errand, just looking at the candy in passing made me say "yuck".lol

Just send them my way LOL! My kids will hoover through them lickety split and look up and say "more please"! I bake them and they eat them just as fast!
I personally don't get many...as madhen when you make them they just don't seem as appealing.

I wish mine weren't appealing after I made them. I, too, feel like a Christmas cow. lol, or should I say 'MOO'.

And also Christmas food! The sloppy Joe's, meatballs, chips, dips, candy and nuts......I am soooooo tired of looking at it already.............and I still have to make another Christmas meal today...But at least it's somewhat different.
