Christmas movie you always watch
Do you have a movie you watch every year at Christmas?
Our family always watches A Christmas Story (you'll shoot yer eye out!) every year at Christmas. Fortunately TBS has made it easy by running it 24hrs. Some years I watch Home Alone (it's on right now) I caught the end of Home Alone II last nite. It may seem odd but I've never seen It's A Wonderful Life.

The Bishop's Wife and the Christmas Carol with George C. Scott, the Muppet Christmas Carol is one of our favorites too!

I don't watch Christmas movies, although the family does. I don't like watching movies over and over again.

Alistair Sim's Christmas Carol - in the original black-and-white. How the Grinch Stole Christmas, again the original with Boris Karloff.

Love Actually (it is one of my favorite movies)
I also end up watching a ton of kids classic holiday movies due to having small children.
I don't mind too much since it gives me a break from the stuff they want to watch during the rest of the year.
My hubby love the Christmas Story.
Like someone else, I don't often watch movies over and over again. This year, I watched a lot of those TV movies on Hallmark Channel, Lifetime or ABC Family. They are fun and cheesey.

I hadn't seen "It's a Wonderful Life" until a couple of years ago. I can take it or leave it. This year I saw it on the Canadian channel CBC and it was like watching an animated paint by number. Very bizarre.
I got to see- Bad Santa
- National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
- Elf
- Home for the Holidays
- A Christmas Story
Bad Santa is NOT for kids or adults who are offended easily.
There is another movie with Danny Devito & the Ferris Bueller actor where Danny overloads his house with Christmas lights that I enjoy watching. Can't think of the name.
I also enjoy those older animated Rudolph & Charlie Brown specials.
Almost forgot, any Muppet Christmas special. I especially like the one with John Denver,Last edited by patticakes; 12-26-2008 at 05:45 PM.
