Smile Got to love gift receipts

    Love Gift receipts

Son received two shirts he loved but were a size to small. We were guessing where SIL bought them. Hoping we were right. Hoping when we get to the big city that the price isn't so reduced that we get so little for the shirts that Son ends up with no shirt.

Today in the mail we recieved the Gift receipts for clothing she bought the children.

So now no worries we can get to the city when we can, we know where she bought them, and Son will probably be able to get two shirts back.

    Nice

My DH wrapped many of his families presents with the gift receipts in the boxes this year since he sometimes misplaces them as he cleans the closet out after Christmas (receipts in bags, etc). I like the gift receipts so much better since prices aren't listed on them, but they get the full price you spent when returning something. Glad you got those receipts mailed to you since the stores tend to mark everything down today & will only give you credit for the lowest price!

That makes a good point to those who don't include gift receipts. It makes exchanges so much easier. Just tape it in side the box so it's not lost amongst the wrapping.

Our oldest son bought himself a gift for Christmas. He gave me the receipt to keep. I looked at the Walmart flyer and the item he had bought was $50.00 less than what he paid for. I called Walmart and they will give him a refund of the $50.00 as long as he has the receipt. It does pay to keep or give the receipts for gifts.

If you need to take something back to the store, the quicker you do it, the better. Some stores have time limits.
I know in the past when I have bought something from Walmart, I was told I had like a week to get the difference in my money back if they dropped the price on something. At least that is what the last cashier told me when I asked.
