The hubby got me a Wii for Christmas. I've got Wii Sports (which it comes with), Animal Crossing, and Harvest Moon. The two games he bought me I absolutely love... I've had prior incarnations of both. I've still not tried Wii Sports, though I hear it's supposed to be quite fun.
There's a couple of things I'd like to pick up for the Wii, including the Wii fit. I'd also like to get an adapter so that we can use our existing router to get me online with the Wii.

I also wanted to mention that I made a "I don't know what to get for this" plea on Livejournal, in a "girl gamers" community. Here's what they said they liked the best:
- Mario Kart (my friend has this game with the wheel and she and her grandson love it)
- Cooking Mama (apparently can be had for pretty cheap)
- Super Mario Galaxy
- Super Smash Brothers (I loved this in its previous incarnations!)
- Super Paper Mario
- Mario Party (is always a hit)
- Wario Ware (is supposed to be a good "group family game")

We got Mario Cart, what a hoot that one is.
And if you want a fast workout try the dance game!
We haven't made it to the sports games yet, but they do look fun!

We have Lego Batman, Mario Cart, Wii Fit, and Carnival. I like all of them really. The Wii fit is fun and so are the games that came with the system like Sports and Wii Play.

We've had our Wii for over a year. This Christmas the new games in our house are High School Musical 3 Dance (so fun), Rapalla fishing (came with a pole for the wii) and a 2009 paintball game. I haven't played them yet, but the kids are having fun.

The Wii fit is a whole separate thing. It runs about $100 and includes a balance board and game. You can now buy games that use the balance board (such as snowboarding).
The grandparents bought the kids the Wii when they first came out and it has provided hours of entertainment for our family. My kids love any all Mario type games.
This Christmas grandparents got the kids Wii fit and they have been having tons of fun with that as well."We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

We got ond for Christmas this year and we have, of course, Wii Sports, Super Mario Galaxy and American Idol Encore 2. I wanted to get Mario Kart and Wii Fit, but they were not to be found. I am still trying to figure out how to get online. I connected to the internet but don't know how to get on now that we are connected LOL!

My girls got a Wii for Christmas we absolutley love it!
I will be picking up the Wii fit if I can find one. LOL
They have played Build a bear, Looney toones, Littlest pet shop & the bee movie.
It did come with a game that they tried and didn't care for.
I am hoping to pick up some more games as cheaply as I can.
I really want the bowling game.Sue

Our family favorites are: Wii Fit, Wii Sports, Wii Winter Sports and we just got Wii outdoors for christmas. ( It is funny because we are not really an athletic family but love these games!) My daughters like the Disney Wii sing and Mario Party 8.

We bought a Wii last year and have ALWAYS enjoyed Wii Sports. Dh bought me Wii Fit for Mother's Day and I love it. So do the kids. We bought the kids SuperMario Kart for Christmas this year and they've been enjoying it quite a bit, and my parents bought the Wii Big Brain Academy for dd this year and she's been enjoying it a lot...we've been having academic races. What parent can argue with that???
