Greetings from Kansas.
Hello fellow frugalites. Looking forward to reading through the archives and getting new ideas, especially in these economic times.
I live in a small town in central Kansas with my wonderful husband, out here in the middle of wheat and cattle country. I'm 56, two grown kids and one granddaughter. Enjoying myself as a homemaker these days - the best job I've ever had
!
Simple living would describe our lifestyle (boardering on DULL).
The screen name, Grainlady, comes from being a long-time user of whole grains. I mill our flour at home using a large variety of grains/seeds/beans and make all our baked goods. More-or-less into whole foods - which are good for us, and generally easy on the budget.
Looking forward to meeting all of you.
