Question Do you fill out surveys from receipts or ones from the mail?

We often get a survey when we shop at Shopper's Drug store and have gotten them from Michael's and a few other stores. I usually fill them out, via e-mail or phone.

If I get any from the mail, I will sometimes fill those out too.

Do you ever fill them out?

    Sometimes.

If they offer a coupon for money or a percentage
off I will. I will also fill it out if I have a complaint
about the store or a product.

A lot of the surveys now offer nothing and it takes
time to fill them out so I mostly don't bother.

Register receipt. Sometimes. Depends on my mood.

I don't seem to get any in the mail.

Register receipts: only when the service or store itself was exceptionally good or really bad. I like for positive experiences to get noted, not just negative. Too many times we don't take the time to tell someone they did a good job. By the same token we are often very quick to report the negative. If it was just an average, run of the mill visit, then I normally do not do them.

If I get one in the mail I normally do not do them. If given a number to call to opt out of future mailings, I call and opt out. No need for them to continue to waste money sending me surveys I am not going to complete.

I do surveys, both register ones (dont get very often here) and in the mail as well as online survey sites.

I have gotten coupons and money for doing all of these surveys as well as sample products.

We try to do the ones we get from the food places we eat. Usually the coupon code is good for 3 or 4 dollars off which usually pays for my meal as I usually just get soup and salad.

I did a phone survey from the receipt for Petsmart that was good for $3 off my next purchase. It took about 5 minutes to do.

I do the receipt surveys. We get them on Shoppers Drug Mart and some of the gas stations and Sobeys. I will do the mail ones they send if Im going to get coupons in return for participating.

I do the ones on the receipts for shoppers, Sobeys, Food Basics, Home Depot and Staples - although I have never, nor have I ever heard on anyone who won anything. I do the Shopper's Voice survey that comes in the mail as they send decent coupons out afterwards.

I constantly fill them out. One day I *know* Home Depot will tell me I won the $5000 prize. Or the $50 certificate to a local restaurants. Most Hallmark reciepts have a survey that is $2 or $3 off a next purchase. I have always been a survey junkie.

The most interesting one was probably 20 years ago for a movie "Bright Lights Big City" Michael J Fox. I was at a friend's house where she started the survey on the phone then haned it off to me when she got bored. What was interesting on this call is the amount of information one of the movie reviewers had printed that I had read. Apparently this large metropolitan paper printed a review that went against their agreement. Nothing more happened afterwards, but I talked with 2 more people from the survey company.

Recently, the NY Sunnybrook (?) research center has called before & after the election for my take on the results.

As for giving an email address, I set up an account just for this purpose so it doesn't clog the account I really use.
