We're staying at home again this year. With two kids and not any babysitters for them, we basically spend every year at home and have some fun. I get to finish going through the entire house for paperwork and then shred the important documents that we don't need anymore (I usually keep all the ones for debts we currently have and get rid of the rest).

I sure do miss the days of partying on NYE.

    Same as always...
Sitting in front of the tv waiting to toast the
New Year in all warm and comfy (maybe a
little tipsy). Kiss and hug when the New Year
arrives, make a few phone calls and then enjoy
the rest of the evening...well. :cteeheehee:

This year, however, is different!! Dh and I are in Vegas and we'll be either on the Strip, or watching the commotion from our hotel room (view of the Strip) depending on how things look. It's already getting CRAZY here and we are just not used to it...let alone the CROWDS!! We're feelin' a bit overwhelmed!!
It is a little overwhelming, but worth it. I used to live in Las Vegas and the strip is incredible on New Year's Eve. Second only to Time Square (I imagine since I've not been to TS).

We got a couple of GC's to different restaurants, so we are probably going to get some take out and rent a movie or just watch whatever is on t.v. and probably be asleep before midnight.

We have the grandsons, but my daughter and her fiance is having a stay at home night, no drinking, just watching movies. So at least i know they are save.

Staying home and watching the ball drop you know they say what you are doing at or about the time of the New year is one thing you will be doing the most in the year to come.bed +wife+husband=fun

Gonna be a wild evening at my house...so far I have the dishwasher running, a load in the washer, and I'm sitting in front of the computer. I also plan to read.

Oh yeah, I lead an exciting life!

We stayed in with the kiddos and basically watched movies and tv and ate some goodies. We are going for a nice long walk tomorrow and just want to enjoy some time together as a family.

Tonight our church held a New York New Years Eve Party (we will on the west coast). There were family games and the party concluded with a communion service at 9 pm.
After the party, we headed home to watch TV and play a game of Scattergories.
New Years Eve is also our anniversary. We thought about going out to dinner, but it is just too crowded and expensive to go out.
Only a half hour left until the new year.
