Had a car accident yesterday..

I was on my way to work around 5:40am and hit a patch of black ice doing 50mph on a main road my vehicle slid down the road sideways on the other side of the road thank god no cars were coming or they would have been seriuosly hurt or dead.. anyway I grabbed on to my steering wheel to embrace whatever I was going to hit and closed my eyes as to not see what might be the end of my life..I hit a snowbank which made my tires come off the ground and hit another snow bank taking out a small sign and hitting a fence then sliding down the embankment and resting in a ditch facing the upcoming traffic..I slammed my head against the drivers side window and got a massive headache..I'm okay..call it a miracle..I don't have any cuts or broken bones no concousion sp? just pulled swollen muscles in my arm (from bracing myself from the impact) and my vehicle has no major damage..If you didn't read my prior post I just paidoff my Trailblazer last week..I'm very lucky as I came within 5 feet of avoiding hitting the electric pole...I'm still alive..I'm still alive..I'm still alive..My boy's have been giving me lot's of hugs a kisses and also telling me how much they love me..I'm truly lucky..

Yes, you were lucky. Sounds like one of those moments where you see your life flash before your eyes. Sorry that happened, but as you said... You're alive.

Oh My Gosh Brenda!!!! Girl that was an amazing car accident. Your angels were working overtime yesterday. No major damage to you or your car, amazing. You must have some big stuff to do yet in your life. I'm so glad you are okay. You take good care of yourself and do a lot of resting so your body can heal. So glad you are "OK" Brenda and it's amazing that others are & your car is too. Whew. That feeling you get when you have no control and are bracing for the worst is horrible. Take good care.
