    Default Status Messages are Fascinating

I love reading the status messages by our user names. It gives me a nice glimpse of the poster. I was just wondering about the story behind your status message.

    Here's mine:
I often feel as if I am just bursting with happiness and joy. I find the world and the people around me be fascinating, and I find life to be filled with wonder and joy. With my faith/beliefs, I give praise to God for my joy-filled attitude. There are a few times that I feel down and ill or discouraged, but not too many. When I do, I just look at my status message and it reminds me to find that peace path again. Thanks to AmyBoz who reminded me one time to look at it when I was feeling down.

    How about you?
    Spiritual:
"You are fearfully and wonderfully made." Please... respect life.

    Financial:
Debt free, hoping to stay that way!

Ornery.......I've Always been cut and dry (so my Mother would put it) or Black and White ( my Fathers rendition!) and hubby's is, It IS what it IS and there IS nothing else. No in betweens, no beating around the bush, no sugar coating, I am VERY Brutally honest with everyone, and I mean everyone! To the point my mouth, attitude and honesty gets me into trouble!!
But I also expect others to be that way with me, if I do or say something to piss you off, tell me, flat out!
I would rather have my feelings hurt a bit now than for someone to lie to me and be devastated by it later on in my life!
I am easy to get along with, I am fun loving, but I am realistic, rough around the edges. I am a firm believer in honesty, logic and common sense and most of the time surrounded by people who do not know the meaning of the words!

Mine is my own little motivational self-message. I thought, initially, to transpose it with "an immovable object," but I liked the first part of the message so much, I just left it. It makes me feel strong and invincible, and determined to push ahead through any and all obstacles.

Mine says I am on the run. It is basketball season, dd14 plays in the pep band at the high school games so we go to those, and ds12 plays youth league basketball and has games every Sat. and Sun. for the next 4 weeks. Add to that, church, piano lesson, youth group, work....life is busy right now, but it's also good! Have to enjoy each season of life for what it is.

ROFL!! Reminds me of the old Mary Tyler Moore show episode where Ed Asner tells Mary, "You've got spunk!" And just as she is starting to blush and smile, follows up with, "I HATE spunk!"

I have a very dry, self depricating sense of humor, with just a touch of cynicism thrown in, HA! My status message is the Title of my biography if I were so inclined actually write it.

Well I try to keep mine up with how I am feeling or what I am doing. Today for example, I am back at work after 2 weeks off for Christmas. I am definitely not thrilled to be back in the grind, but I am thankful to have only have to work 1 day and then I get the weekend off.

Maybe I can get some rest and relax now that I am back to work. LOL it seems like I stay more busy when I am off on vacation.

I like to read them too

Mine says that I will never buy anything from Sears again. I bought a washing machine from them last week, and they called at 7:15 AM the day they were supposed to deliver and canceled due to "manufacturing delays". :gah:They were supposed to be there between 7:30 and 9:30, and they called at least 5 times before that to confirm they'd be there then. I was not happy! They're supposed to come tomorrow instead (but I won't know what time until tonight , and I have a feeling I'm going to get more grief).

I changed mine last fall when I was trying to get motivated to work out more.

Since I'm back on the weight loss wagon after the holidays, I think I'll leave it for awile! Since dreaming of losing my love handles is what I'm trying to do. Maybe I should change it to something more positive like "Sarah is GOING to lose her love handles!"

Mine used to say that I was enjoying fall. I think now it says that I am listening to the children. LOL
Maybe I should put that I am enjoying winter.
