And the sink disposal just blew....
Argh! I don't know what happened, I just finished doing dishes to get ready for making dinner, and there's a huge puddle of water on the floor coming out from under the sink.
The last thing I put down the grinder was the leftover Thanksgiving gravy.
DH says it's leaking from the bottom, it didn't break it's seal or come loose from the pipe. Which means we will have to get a pro in to fix it.
Emergency fund? Yeah, we've been living off that since Oct when DH got his layoff notice.

I'm so sorry to hear about this... Sometimes it's just one thing after another, isn't it?

DH has now pulled the thing out for a better look, and shown me where it was dripping from the reset button -- which was completely corroded. All of the metal parts are rusted and corroded, and we both agree it probably wasn't worth getting it fixed. I can get a brand new one for under $100.
So right now the plan is to do without until DH gets employed and we get cash flowing again. And I need to remember not to push anything down that side....Use it up, Wear it out,

Oh goodness! I'm glad your DH figured out what it was and you have a plan of action until the money is there to get it replaced.
I hate when stuff like that happens. They say when it rains, it pours and wow, they aren't kidding!
