Default Snowy Saturday ~ what are your plans today?

Today, I am taking down my tree and whatever other Christmas decorations that get in my way I'm wanting to rearrange my living room so that my coffee table doesn't get in the way of the Wii but I'm stymied. I'm limited in where I can put things because even though we only have one recliner and one sofa....I also have two windows, three doorways, a fireplace, and only one place the cable can be hooked up to.

I'm also going to bake some more Mocha Chocolate Chip Biscotti and some Ginger Snaps dh has requested

I don't have too much going on today, but here is what I have planned:

    ~Taking library books back
~Finishing up laundry for the week
    ~30 minute workout
    ~Doing dishes
~Getting spareribs in the crockpot this morning
    ~Some general light cleaning

And I think that is about it. I might do some crafting if time allows today too!

No snow here. It would be nice to see a little bit. LOL! I have a few loads of laundry to do, don't have to, just want to stay ahead of the game. I need to wipe off my breakfast table chairs and the barstools and then do a quick tidy through the house. I am hoping to do some scrapbooking... feeling creative this morning! Hope everyone has a nice satisfying Saturday!

It is warmer and rainy looking here, in the mid 50's. Have the house opened up to air it out a bit.Have already biked this morning, did pet chores, washed the linens. I am going with a friend this morning to look at wrapping paper for next year, and anything else I may need for Christmas. She is treating me to lunch. This afternoon I have a hair appointment, then I need to come home and work on sanding a door I found. I want to put it leading down to the basement, it has the beautiful arched panels, still has the wavy glass, and all the old antique hardware.Should be a busy day. Hope yours is a good one!!

Emily_ Hope I will gladly send you some snow, my husband is out snowblowing as I type. I guess I will be cleaning my upstairs today and probably a load of wash. That is my goal for this year to keep caught up in my weekly cleaning. I am going to try my hardest since it gives me peace of mind to have the main cleaning done. I won't talk about closets, ovens, curio cabinet.

No snow here in Kuwait, but it was in the low 40s this morning. My plan is to go through a bunch of paperwork that either needs to be filed or shreaded.

No snow here, supposed to be about 67 again today. I'm gonna take advantage of that wash my car.

Even though I don't have many plans I will do a few things (I'm soooo tired from the holidays and all that went with it)...:

    ~workout - 45 minutes
    ~clean myself up
~do about 3 loads of laundry and put away all clean laundry
~pick and put up around the house

Maybe tomorrow I'll rid us of the Christmas decorations, but who knows.

Heather, we had the same problem with the Wii. I ended up getting rid of the coffee table. Now I'm not worried the kids will go through the TV when they play.

I would if I could...but the cable would have to either go around the fireplace or around a doorway. We have so much woodwork, it's impossible to get cable up around a doorway. I need to get dh's input...

We have a long list of things I would like to get taken care of today. Now, how many we actually accomplish is another story. I am nursing a slight headache, DH has been fighting a cold for days and both kids are still recovering from spending New Year's Eve at a church lock in.

So far the only thing any of us has done today is workout. DH dropped the kids off at the gym about thirty minutes ago. Once they finish lifting weights and doing their cardio one of us will pick them up.

Once they get home we need to:
*run to Sam's or the grocery store
*put away all of the decorations
    *cut the grass
    *clean the house
*hang some things in DD's room(cute string lights done in an oriental theme, some paper lanterns, a clock and some wooden letters that spell out her name)
*give both dogs a bath and clip the little one's toenails
*drop off some donations at the thrift store
*go to the mall for a little shopping
