Thursday 1/8/09 What's your day look like?

It's cold and windy out here. The sun's not quite up yet but I'm expecting grey. I'm also in a pretty good mood which is odd considering somehow over the last day or so DH's cashed check got misplaced (I think it's at the laundry for his work uniforms which means it's gone), my aunt has to have open heart surgery, and that vacation is well and truely over. My day will be fairly routine but I do plan on knocking a couple of things off my to do list.

~ dinner
~ laundry
~ prep lunches
~ quick house straighten
~ blog
~ excersize
~ maybe hit the bookstore on my way home form work
~ bills/budget sheet
~ purge/sort my recipes

Kind of lame I guess. Anyone doing anything more intresting?

Not too much here today. DD has a two hour delay because of snow this morning so I'll be taking her to school shortly. The boys have Lego Club this afternoon, for the first time in weeks. They are super excited.

Other than that I need to:
~wash bedding
~wash dishes
~make dinner
~do lessons
~clean up the kitchen

Good morning!

We woke up to snow and are expecting 1- 3 inches more today. I don't have much on my agenda for today.

Our morning paper had a story about some store closings in our area. One is Goody's. I think it's a regional clothing chain. And wouldn't you know it, I got a $50 gift card for Christmas. It's not a place I usually shop. Hopefully I can find some clothing staples like socks, underwear, etc., or maybe a gift or two.

It is a nice weather day here, mid 60's with a light breeze. Just the kind of day to get out of the house and go to the zoo. I am thinking about taking DS there today. We are Zoo Friend members so admission is included in our yearly membership. There is also a lecture at the Archives and History museum I am thinking about taking him to.

So far this morning I have:
*Made DD and DH breakfast
*Made DH lunch
*Took DD to school
*Cup of coffee

Still need to:
*Take a shower
*Pick up a prescription
*Refill another prescription
*Eat some breakfast & give myself a shot
*Clean up/pick up around the house
*Eat some lunch & another shot
*Do something fun and education w/DS - either the zoo or the lecture
*Pick up DD from school
*Take DS to basketball practice
*Drop both kids off at the gym for a workout and then Body Pump
*Eat dinner & another shot
*Watch some TV & get ready for bed


ETA: I almost forgot - tonight is the Florida/Oklahoma BCS Bowl game so the whole family will be parked in front of the TV for the game. Go Florida!!!We are a family divided - DS and I are Tennessee fans, DH is Auburn Alumni so he an DD are Auburn fans. But we all agree on pulling for Florida tonight.

I don't have too much on my agenda today.

Finish up laundry
Put laundry away
Get dinner in the crockpot
Maybe do some vaccuming
Put away clean dishes
Get out and shovel the sidewalks (except its only 10 degrees, so hopefully it warms up a bit)
Get to the gym after DH gets home from work

I've already done last nights dinner dishes, & this mornings breakfast dishes, got DS off to school, and took the garbage to the curb.

Might try to get some crafting in today. I'm feeling creative!

It has been a crazy week for me. I spent alot of extra time the last couple of days at one of my patient's homes. He passed away at 5 this morning. So, my house needs some work.
So far I have:
-started laundry
-loaded dishwasher
-got kids off to school
-had a pot of coffee
-sifted through FV posts
-cleaned off the counters
-showered and dressed
-weekly patient paperwork ready to turn in
-rescheduled my stress test

Yet to do:
-sweep kitchen/dining room
-go to office and turn in paperwork
-get groceries
-put roast in crock pot
-pay mortgage payment
-RELAX

GOOD MORNING !!

Today is my only day off, I worked the last 7 days and will work the next 3 . Since they put me on day shift this month, I have been getting up at 430 am so today I woke up at 5 am.

I striped my bed, washed and currently have them in the dryer,(I know, but Queen sized bedding is a pain to hang in house durring the winter). I also have a load of uniforms in the washer. Then I cleaned the master bath as I tend to neglect that durring the week, I had recieved a gift cert for walmart and used it to buy my cleaning supplies for the yr. Well I decieded to buy the mr clean erasers, and WOW I just love them so now they are on on keep in stock list.

So the rest of my day is

finnish laundry
clean floors
wrap my Godsons bday gift today he is 8 yrs old today!!
Get a shower
RELAX
then head on over to GS birthday party .

Woke up to 41 degrees this morning and it's supposed to warm up into the upper 70's and be sunny sunny sunny! So I will be spending the afternoon outside in the garden for a while and then sitting on the porch with a good book waiting on DS to come home from school.

Other than those 2 lovely things later this afternoon, the rest of my time will be spent doing my usual daily chores and...
Washing a load of laundry.
Doing some cleaning.
Filing some papers.
Fixing dinner.
Maybe work on my braided rug some more.

It is a lovely day here in Austin, sunny and warm. My husband's birthday is today so I'm taking him out to dinner after work. Then I am going to my musical theatre dance class. Should be a good day.

Type my journal summary draft for school
Write my article summary draft for school

Hopefully I'll be able to get the bathroom and kitchen cleaned up tonight in between all of that. This has been a rough week getting back into the swing of things at school.

Well, I'm up with a sore throat , so today I'm doing as much as I can-tomorrow maybe worse! Today is my wedding anniv..so I'm making a nice supper. But I've dusted, swept, picked up, put away, and I've got clothes in the washer waiting to be hung up. Then...I'm going to SIT! You have a good day!

Well, I'm down with pneumonia today. I have had bronchitis for the past week, and then went back into the doctor yesterday after I pulled all of the muscles on my right side from coughing so hard. Fun fun. So I am being incredibly lazy today! My 5 year old is drawing me get well cards and I am surfing the web!!

I still need to try and clean the kitchen and living room areas in case someone drops by. And what's for dinner? I may have to check out what everbody else is cooking for some inspiration. Hope you all have a great day!

Made dh breakfast and lunch to take to work

Went to Staten Island to visit my dad in the nursing home

made beds

cleaned kitchen

still have to

pick up dog food and prescriptions at Walmart

Go to the bank

Walk my pom and then walk my Berenese Mt dog

cook dinner making breaded pork chops baked potatoes green beans applesauce

if I have time bake a cake
