As a matter of fact, yes. First off, I had to work. But all my coworkers and clients were so kind and I got tons of well wishes for my birthday. DH is out of town working, but he sent me some yellow roses, which are my favorite! And this next part was good and bad LOL. Where I work, we close the shop for a bit and all go grab some lunch together. DD19 wanted to surprise me and while we were away, she tied a flower and a balloon to the door. I was very surprised when we returned. I sent her a text message thanking her. She replied that I was welcome, but that it had cost her a SPEEDING TICKET! She had been to her classes at college yesterday morning and was on her way to work and was trying to deliver my surprise in between. She wasn't paying attention to how fast she was going and a State Patrol pulled her over and she got a ticket. I really felt bad for her. After work, both my DDs and my DMother took me out to dinner. We went to an Italian restaurant in the neighboring town... the birthday guest gets their dinner on the house there! And I had birthday wishes from people here at FV and other internet friends! It was a wonderful day! We are also having a big party on Saturday night at a pub here in town. Saturday, the 10th, is my DFriend and coworker's 60th birthday and my DSister-in-law has a birthday on Monday the 12th. We decided to all go out with some DFriends and DFamily and celebrate together. There will probably be about 30 people to celebrate with us. It should be great fun! I am so blessed!
