    Smile New to Site

    Hello, everyone. I have been lurking on this site for a few days and decided to join. There are so many kindred spirits here that I feel really comfortable joining. I have learned a lot from all of the posts I've read in this short period of time. I am especially glad to find out that I'm not alone in this quest to make a better life for my family. My husband thinks I'm crazy when I get into something like frugality, cooking, research, etc. I'm a self-professed information junkie. I love to find information on the WWW now that I have high-speed internet. That's how I found this site.

    My friends call me names like 'Martha', 'Molly Homemaker', and I'm sure a few things that I don't know about. They don't know when I have time to bake bread, cook, make crafts or useful things or whatever. I guess I've mastered the organization thing with time. However, I don't feel like it's anything special. It's normal for me.

    I enjoy crafting, cooking, gardening, quilting, crocheting, reading and trying new things. Best of all I LOVE a great deal at my favorite stores!

    I have a DH, two dogs - more like children - and 10 chickens. We live in the 'sticks' but near to a major city.

    It is nice to meet all of you. Thank you for all of your information. I hope I can help out someone here some time.
