    my son just got an acceptance offer on his 1st home. Great news! We've been looking at homes for the last few weekends and it's exhausting. I mostly tag along for construction advise (what he can and can't do and estimates of time and dollars).

    I am so happy for him and so happy that I don't have to traipse along thru homes every weekend.

    I just wanted to share some good news. There is quite a bit of cosmetic work to be done that we'll be doing ourselves (paint / tile, etc.).

    Woo hoo! House shopping is DONE!
