It is FREEZING here. We are sitting at -23* without the wind chill. Thankfully there isn't any wind, cuz it's cold enough without it!
Needless to say, we are staying home & staying warm!
I need to:
~wash dishes
~put away folded laundry
~wash bedding
~clean litterboxes
~pick up the living room
~lessons
~knit
~pick up dd

Really cold here too but life goes on. DS has to play in the band after swim practice so a long day for him. I'll pick him up and take dd to preschool. And shovel
The kids want me to take them to the 'big hill' to sled after school. I doubt they'll stay too long so I'll drop some things off at the food pantry while I'm out. Oh, the excitement.

Very cold here!!!! The words the newscaster used were frigid, artic, and brutal.
Other than working, all I plan on doing is making dinner, doing laundry, doing dishes, and reading a book!McD

-take ds to preschool
-take garbages out
-plan scout activity
-It's a fundraiser night for the school at Wendys tonight so no cooking!
(just spending a whole lot for a greasy dinner)

Start making my menu for next week
Bake
Drink coffee
Thaw out
Usual house stuff

I have been looking after my daughter. She had her tonsils removed on Monday. It was worse than we both expected but I believe that that has to do with her age - she is 18.
I have also been on the phone for a while today figuring things out with the insurance and the repair shop of my car.
I have already made dinner and done some laundry in between everything.
It is dull weather here and is about 5 degr. C.
Also my DH brought one of our sons to the airport today. He is on his way to Mexico to meet up with his Dutch girlfriend who has been studying there. They will be flying back together in a couple of weeks.Last edited by Dutchie; 01-14-2009 at 09:34 AM.

Oh my! And I thought it was cold here at 27 degrees. I'm starting to feel toasty.
Unfortunately, I have to work this afternoon. I do have a busy day scheduled though, so maybe the time will fly. I've got a load of laundry that needs folding and another to start washing. I'm going to use my crock pot and make some Hoisin Chicken.

It is 4 degrees here this morning. I am not going to work today, I am staying home and preparing one of the bedrooms for 2 more foster children that we may take in this week. I am not positive that we will be getting them, but I don't want to wait until the last minute.

It's frigid here as well. We started in the 20s and its dropping by the minute. There are some serious winds as well. Poor DH is at the funeral of a firefighter in Boston freezing his buns off.
We're having friends over later today for some knitting and talking while the kids run around. Other things to do today:
-Freeze the 3 batches of pancakes I made this morning
-get dinner into the crockpot
-pick up my coop order
-make cookies for the guests
-put away load of laundry
-finish school with kids
-work on sister's afghan
-clean bathrooms
-vacuum

Very chilly morning here as well.I did the treadmill, linens and pet chores. Brought in some wood and have the fireplaces crackling.I need to drop off some things at the thrift store, pick up some laundry from the cleaners, and pay our home and property insurances.I am going to come home and work on sorting and organizing all the cabinets in my bathroom, and if I have time, in DH's bathroom. Then exercise with a friend, supper, bath and a movie. Try to stay warm everyone!
