Default So much Snow, so little School!!!

Just heard on the radio that ALL AREA SCHOOLS ARE CANCELLED TODAY!!! Which means this is the second day this week that school has been cancelled, yesterday it was only 2 hours late!!

We have been under a blizzard warning for the last two days, now we have a horrible windchill factor. It is -37 degrees today and tonight is only suppose to get a whooping -25 degrees with the windchill!! So loosely put it is FREEZEING here!!!

Anyone else have some freezeing weather or no school today!!

I was surprised that dd didn't at least have a delay. The temp this morning (without the wind chill) was -23*F and there are a lot of kids who have to walk to school.

She's already had two snow days and quite a few delays so far this year.

It is cold by me too! It snowed last night (and still snowing lightly) and then the winds blow in later. We're under a wind chill warning through Friday with wind chills -20 to -30. There are a few schools in my area closed or have a delayed opening.

I used to love days like this when I was kid!!

When you homeschool there are no snow days- much to my kids dismay, lol.

It was about 7 degrees Celsius yesterday and I'd say 60% of our snow melted. We still have a good two feet of it on the ground and it's snowing today, then it'll be 9C tomorrow and up to at least 11 by Friday. Mmmm, sick time!

No school here. We got 6 inches over night, plus the 4 inches alreay on the ground.Plus we live in the country open area.
