    Default How Cold Is It? Thursday, Jan. 15

    We awoke to minus 4 outside. How cold is it where you are?

    We have sunshine and no snow or ice, so at least that helps.

    My outdoor digital thermometer goes down to -10, and it couldn't register the temp this morning, so it was lower than that!

    I think when I got up, the news was showing -12, but that was 4:30 am, and it's warmed up since then.

    Poor DH had to go to work, and he works outside ALL DAY! I hope he has a chance to stop and warm up in his truck at some point today!

    According to the radio we are currently sitting at -45* this is with windchill!! It is freezing out!!!

    Here at 8.43 is it a blistering 16 with a windchill of 3. I didn't even want to know what it was when I went out this morning to start the bus...Today's high is only suppose to be 20 and the low tonight 3....not including wind chill..

    Would someone please tell the weather that I am suppose to be living in the South?? I didn't sign up for this!!

    We're having a heat wave! It's only -10*F BUT today we have a windchill making it feel like -30*F. It's sunny here too, but here that makes it worse. I'd much rather have clouds. With clouds we have insulation and it's not nearly as cold.

    We are also under a Lake Effect Snow Watch starting tomorrow morning. Another 6-10" of the white stuff.

    we are in single digits with the wind chill and we got so far 1/2 inch of snow. we're suppose to get more snow showers later and the temps are suppose drop some more. I'm debating on whether or not to go in to the gym. it's a tad chilly out there LOL

    Man you all are dealing with some major cold weather. With windchill we are in the mid-teens. I guess I should count myself lucky.
