    Default friend died today

    I have a friend who used to work with me, where we met. In late spring of last year she found out she had lung and bone cancer. They got all of the lung cancer but the bone cancer was too advanced.Sandy, the other girl I work with called this afternoon, Karen died today. She was 2 years older than I am. I'm still in a daze, Sandy and I were just talking about calling Karen and getting her to meet us for lunch. This was last week. She didn't tell us how bad she was. I don't know where I'm going with this just rambling. Sure makes you think about things.

    I'm so sorry.

    I lost a dear friend just before Christmas. It came without warning and really made me stop and reflect on my life.

    I know the lack of control really bothered me. I wanted to do something but didn't know what to do or say.
