    Default We met our 2008 goal

    Okay, maybe a 16 days late, but I am still really proud of all the effort we put into it! And need an outlet to "shout" about it. We had to pay for a birth and the downpayment for a surprise "new" (or to us) vehicle and we still managed to meet our goal albeit a bit belated.

    We had $82,288 owed on our mortgage as of 1-1-2008 and we have $70,000 owed on our mortgage as of 1-16-2009.

    This year's goal is to pay off the new car so we don't have a note on it... and build up our savings fund to 15K (due to the economy). We currently owe $9100 on our car and have $8600 in savings... Hopefully, we will make this year's goal on time.
