Question ???How much time a day do you...

"budget in" for reading emails, reading the news, reading message boards etc? I'm trying to get a feel as to what other feel is an " acceptable" amount of computer time. Thank you. Take care and God bless.

I would guess I try to limit it to a few (2 or 3) hours a day.....but if hubby is out of town in the evening, I can easily spend several more after the kiddos go to bed.

I do so much from my computer...that it is easy to just pop over and see my email. I spend about two hours a night off and on the computer. (I do schoolwork, talk to my dd and mom....stay on fv) but I am also doing laundry, cleaning and such...it's not straight time...

I don't budget time on the computer. I just come and go has I have time. Weekends I usually spend more time on the internet. I'm retired and so is dh so we have a lot of spare time to do exactly what we want to do. Also I didn't have a computer for 2 years, so I'm playing catch-up (at least that's my excuse).

I spend way to much time on the computer...way to much, lol.
I generally spend about 1 hour in the morning, when the kids (mine or 12 and 17) are getting up,dressed, breakfast, and chores done in the a.m. (we homeschool). Then after noon, I spend about 2-4 hourse per day on the www!!! (sometimes more) emails, news, research, looking up recipes, talking to others, message boards, couponing and such. I do tend to spend less time on the computer in the spring and summer, when I am gardening, but winter time, I spend a lot.
I wanted to note, that we do not have "tv" either, if we want to watch something, we do it all online via computer as well.

2-3 hours on and off. I try not to go on until late afternoon otherwise I'd get nothing done (which feels like often with an 8 wk old).

I don't really budget it in. I just do it when I get some free time. Usually in the evening when the kids go to bed and then again during quiet time around noon. I have cut back my time on the computer though, it is easy for me to spend whole days online.

I come one first thing in the morning if i am not working early and will check everything on the internet, ie: email, facebook, ebay and FV then i will force myself off and do a little housework get a drink / breakfast. I go on the Wii if im not busy - so the pc has to go off if i am not using it.

When I do my ebay i could easily spend about 2 hours doing all the packaging and postage. Its a chore but it pays well.
