saved money on bills
I redid my verizon cell. We had 4 phones because our oldest daughter and soninlaw is on ours was cheaper for them. MY daughter and hubs only text most of the time and my hubby uses his only for work which he uses maybe 3 times a day.so it went from verizon $186 a month down to $130 =$56.00 saved+ my daughter pays us 60 a month for her half.
Now mediacom, has a special for HOME PHONE--CABLE--INTERNET FOR $89 1 YEAR SPECIAL... Right now we pay, for home phone $69 and cable and internet $110 thats $179 so we can go with the special even if its for 1 year and pay $89 for all 3 .We need to cut corners whe we can.If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal. Good for you! Dh and I are on seperate plans right now, I have verizon and he has nextel. He used to need Nextel for his job, but since he has changed jobs, he doens't need it any longer. Plus, he gets cell phone discounts through his job, so his is discounted 15%. When our contracts are up this summer, we are going to get one plan, with two phone lines under his name through verizon, so we can get the discount on both lines!
I think cell phones and cable are like insurance, you have to shop around as frequently as you can because the plans and promotions are always changing!

If you are already on Mediacom I'm not sure the special will apply. Maybe since you are bundling it might. I know a lot of there specials are for new customers only.
