It's right Where It's spose to be!!!

My son was going to play a game this morning after he got ready for school until it was time to go. I was the last one on the Wii and had played the Wii fit, so as he took the Wii fit disc out he said, "where is the case for it" and I replied, " It's right where it's spose to be!!!"
And his reaction was funny, " Oh, sure enough, it was right here with all the other games!!!"

And I got to thinking, how many times a day I must hear, " Where are my shoes, books, book bag, coat, game" or whatever it is they did not put where it belongs and now cannot find it!
And I wondered, when do they get it through their thick skull's to put the thing in it's place would mean you always know where it is!!! and of course my silly little comments everytime there is something "missing" is, "have you looked where it is supposed to be"?

And how it is sometimes my fault those things go missing into a void of "never findville" because I warn them not to leave it in the middle of the floor and they dont listen so I send the item (silently) on a trip to never return land in my shed!!

I just had to share the surprize on my son's face and in his voice that, " Wow, when Mom plays the game she keeps stuff right where it is supposed to be"!!!

If I had a dollar for everytime someone said "Mom or Honey, where is my whatnot?" I would not be on a frugal website. I would be "doing lunch" with Bill Gates.

they reply, "well I dont remember where I left it"
I reply, " had you put it where it is supposed to go we would not be having this discussion"

I'm laughing so hard, and feeling so blessed that I am not the only one!!

I do a version of that. I am the only female in the house (besides some of the cats). We have a running joke about my magic boobs and how they make it where I can magically find things.
