And just think, they only thought they were having 7! I guess one more won't make too much difference. LOL

I hope they are continue to get healthier and that the mom heals quickly.

its amazing, and even more amazing that the pregnancy was kept out of the public eye.

    I'm exhausted thinking about it.

I wonder about her. They haven't otld us anything about her. How old? Name? Married? Other children? Usually you at least see the happy papa!

From what I understand, the parents didn't want any publicity and wanted to keep everything under wraps.

Better her, than me. While I think it's great that medical science can help those who can't get pregnant realize their dream of being a mom, I think it's time for them to perfect the procedure so women quit giving birth to litters...8 babies at one time!!!!!

I think that if the family wanted to stay out of the spotlight then they should have told the doctors not to hold a press conference.

I hope that all the babies are able to come home soon.

I don't know how they will manage with all those babies. I remember all those long nights with a crying baby, let alone 8 crying babies. Hope they have lots of help lined up. Can you imagine....?

I read on another message board (so this was not confirmed by the press) that she already has 6 children, and she lives with her parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did hear about the other 6 kids. I just wonder how she will be able to afford taking care of all of these children. I hate to think like that, but I just know how expensive mine are. NICU time is just way too expensive...it took forever to get my child paid off.

Eight babies at once...no thanks! If I got pregnant with that many, of course I'd never think of terminating any lives. I'm happy she decided to keep them all. Very courageous and strong! I hope she has lots of support.

I have a lot of thoughts on this story, but I don't want to start a debate. :crazy1:
