Default how much is an inch of changes worth???

    [img][/img]

    $138.07 !!!

I am very pleasantly surprised... just think if I saved 5 inches of change. That was just a half-a$$ attempt to save my change... now I'm gonna begin to hoard my change like a fiend and see how I come out in 2009.

Very cool! I sometimes feel like the proverbial king in his counting house, because I like to dump out my change jar and put the money into nice little piles and see how it adds up. Maybe I need a see-through jar, as well, so I won't have to dump it out to get that visual kick!

Who would've ever guessed? That IS excellent!

I used to have a jar like that. I wonder whatever happened to it. Wouldn't mind an inch or two myself....LOL!

    Hats off to you fluttermuffin!

That was pretty intersting to see. I bet it surprised you as much as it did me!

The kids get all the change around here. They got one of those banks that counts the change, so we clean out our pockets and purse at the end of every day and let the kids put it into their jar to split to go into their savings account.

I don't know what their total is, but I know they have quite a bit in there already!

I love saving change I start the day after Christmas and dont touch it until I start Christmas shopping the following Dec. This year my total was 966.00 dollars. Iroll it periodically during the year and keep it in my china closet drawers. I spend alot on Christmas 4 kids inlaws stepchildren grandchildren so this helps to lighten the load

I am doing that this year for the first time. I am hoping there will be enough in there, combined with my homemade gifts, to cover all of Christmas!
