    i am having trouble and i don't know if it's fixed! dd needs to use my computer for her classes later ... everything was coming out backwards when I typed. Why would it do that?

    Sounds like a prank. There is a character that can cause this as well as a right click menu option in many text areas in Microsoft programs on XP 64Bit (e.g. Notepad, IE and Explorer).

    Here is the character if anyone wants to try mimicking your problem:

    It could also be a wonky virus. Hope that helps.

    i think it's ok now. how do i find out if it's a virus? I have a virus protection program...AVG

    I would just run your anti-virus software and also an adaware program to check and see!

    I hope you have it all fixed now!
