I just cranked my heat up to 73....."why" you ask?????
Because in about 1 hour we have a very interested, VERY INTERESTED, private party buyer coming to look at our house!!!
Ya'll remember me telling you we were moving? If not, [ame="http://www.frugalvillage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114819"]here[/ame] it is.
Anyway, hubby has already been out in CA for a few weeks, and we have been doing some final prep to get the house ready to sell. The DAY BEFORE we went to list it with the agent, our neighbor comes over and says "hey, we know some ppl that really are interested in your house!"
So the next day, the wife calls and is all excited about our house. We live in a small town and everyone knows about our house. The ppl that lived here before us did not take care of it AT ALL and it fell into disrepair. It sat empty for over a year untill we bought (at a bargain price, I might add!). Anyway, we have done some amazing things to it, and in general, just took care of it like it needed to be taken care of! So anyway, the whole town knows that we fixed it up, and now this family wants it!!!! They are best friends with our neighbors, the family coming over vacations with our neighbors...so they are all excited about that too!!
We haven't listed it yet, cause we are going to try and sell to them first, but if they don;t want it, the agent has a few buyers lined up that want to see it too!
I know we haven;t sold it yet - but we are very encouraged!!
Wife will be here in an hour, she is dying to see it. The hubby will come this evening - I'll let you know how it goes.
Say a prayer for us, please!!

Yeah! That would be totally awesome if you don't have to go to the trouble of listing it!
Good idea turning up the heat! You wouldn't want them to think there is something wrong with the furnace!

Open your blinds/curtains to let the light in as well.
Saying a prayer it will sell.

Saying a prayer for you. Good Luck! It would be great if you can sell it before listing it!

good luck!!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

make a pot of coffee, the smell is inviting, if you can... a batch of cookies also make it more homey.
Goodluck!

I hope it goes well! What a relief that would be to sell it so quickly.
