We are getting a less this year. Only because we signed a gas drilling lease for our property and were paid $3800 and we had to pay taxes on it totaling almost $400. So our return is about $400 less than last year.

We are getting more this year and were surprised. We figured after Joe got laid off last Feb and had unemployment for about 4-6 weeks plus having to take out some of his 401k to pay the mortgage we would be getting a lot less. Thankfully that wasn't he case and its a good thing since we are having a baby in less then a month and we were going to need a few new things for her....lol

I haven't even ventured to do taxes yet. My guess is that it will be much less since my DD no longer lives with us, but hopefully I won't have to pay anything.

First refund we've had in 15 years, getting way more, we usually pay a lot (income was cut in half).

We're getting a few hundred less. I think it's mostly because we refinanced and paid way less mortgage interest.

We're getting alot more because we had taxes taken out of dh's unemployment and my social security as well as had more taken out of dh's check once he went back to work.

We just got tired of either having to pay taxes back or being so close to having to pay and it was a confusing year so we let the government do our savings this year.

I'm so glad we did because otherwise it would have been spent. We're not good at saving on our own...

We don't pay state taxes in Nevada, thank goodness!
