Thumbs up I was given a RAOK today

It may seem very small but to me it was just a very nice gesture. Around here people can be quite rude!! Today I went to get gas with DS 11. We were in "line" for a pump and the lines come from both ends of the pumps generally. I was at one end and there were 3 cars at the pumps I was in line for. The man at the first pump had a big full size truck...he finished and then I saw him waving at me. He was asking if I wanted the pump. I have a LARGE SUV so its harder to get around cars and pumps and I think he realized that so he kept the spot and inched slowly so I could fit all the way in and noone could take my spot since I'd been waiting. Sadly around here people will just swoop in and take your spot. I was very appreciative.

That was nice of him. I drive a 12 passenger van, so I can completely understand why it might seem small to others, but it would be major to me, too.

Glad they were thinking of you.

Glad to hear that people still do RAOK. They don't much around here either, sadly. Good to hear it still happens to people!

That is so awesome! Around here, I still see RAOK once in awhile. It always amazes me when I see a stranger do something nice for someone...and it is always contageous! I see it most in line at Aldi's. When someone only has a few things, and the people in front of them have carts full. Once someone lets that person go ahead of you, everyone else realizes its a nice gesture and does the same!

I hope you pass it onto someone else!

What a thoughtful act. It is heartwarming to see the raok growing.

Is it ok to post anothe raok? My Mil , out of the blue, called me and offered to purchase 3 SHARE food packages for me & family. She gave me a package of Mainstays candles (2 big , 3 little) and a bag of Harry London?? chocolates. I hid those chocolates in my sock drawer(LOL). I think I will be a little kinder and share w/ my family.

I totally agree because sometimes it does seem so many are lacking in this area.

Yeah for you on your RAOK
