Hello from Kansas!
How did you hear about frugal village?
Somehow I found FrugalVillage about 4 years ago when my husband and I were living way above our means and going under. The website looked a bit different then, but had some great ideas and people and I am happy to find it still does.
What interests you here?
I'm very interested in cutting everyday costs, stockpiling (although I haven't been able to start yet), gardening, homesteading is a dream of mine, however, I married a city boy and have hit a few roadblocks there
I love how supportive this community is, although I'm not super chatty, I hope to find a place in this community.
What will you contribute?
I hope I can be a supportive member of the community and share in my journey on getting my family's finances back in order.
How many kids? Ages?
I have 3 children, aged 12, 10, and 8. Girl, boy, girl.
Tell us about yourself.:
I am a working mom of three, trying to balance out a wholesome home life and working to support our family. I've been married to my husband for 11 years (in May). He is so different than I am, but I love the challange of teaching him more frugal ways to live, without feeling deprived. I love to craft, (crochet, sew, knit, generally making things with my hands)
Do you own any pets?
We have a 2 year old boxer girl, named Jolee. She is such a clown!
Occupation?
I work as a Property Manager for a local rental management company
Married or single?
Married
Interests and hobbies?
