My turn to ask for prayer, please....

Don't you just hate those early morning phone calls? i got a call at 7:16 (which is right when I am getting my kids ready for school) from my dad. My mom wasn't feeling well, and at 2 am, got up, and shortly thereafter passed out. My dad called 911, they came and she was feeling better, but still went to the er - they've done an ekg so far (haven;t had the results read yet).....and they have been waiting. It was about 40 min ago that I talked with my dad (and I spoke with my mom too. She sounds tired and weak - but
perfectly coherent). At that time they were still waiting to be seen.

They are in WA state, I'm in KS, and hubby is in CA right now - so, I could use some prayer and support right now!

I'm am praying that it was just something "weird", she ate something yesterday that made here feel almost instantly sick and nausous....she went to bed still not feeling well at 6 pm - so maybe something strange like food poisioning or an allergic reaction that caused a drop in blood pressure that caused her to pass out?????

I know it has to be hard being so far away but I do believe that eating something that makes you fell sick immediately like that could be the problem.

OK, jsut got a txt from my dad (gotta love txts, eh?)

Dr just came in and thinks it may be a bad flu bug that is apparatntly a bad flu bug going around....they ran a bunch of tests, and it will prob be a few more hours till we know for sure.....but we are encouraged

I hope it is 'just' the flu bug (although those can be awful) and not something worse. Praying that she gets well soon!

Dw was in the position of having to wait by the phone for news on her mom when she was ill. I know how hard it is. I will be praying for your mom and you.
