Default I posted before about finding a frugal dentist...
Dh has been going to him for some things over the last few months, and was really happy with him. Plus, he hasn't tried to talk us into anything costly, which made me happy.

Well, I got to meet him yesterday, becuase the kids had appointments for cleaning, and I love him even more!

He was so awesome with the kids! He is an older gentleman (Dh thought he was in his 40's), but I think he is a bit older. I could tell by how he was with the kids, that is definately a grandpa!

He took the time to show them what he was gonna do, let them play with and check out all the equipment and I swear, the kids thought it was play time!

Then, at the end...he gave them new toothbrushes and they got to pick out SHARK TEETH! How awesome is that for little boys? They each got to pick out a shark tooth to take home, and he gave them a little pamphlet to help them identify their tooth, and figure out what kind of shark it came from.

Now, I HATE the dentist. I normally, will not go to the dentist unless I absolutely have too. However, I made an appointment, and I'm actually excited about seeing him. He put me at such ease!

I am so happy that after 10 years, we found a great dentist! I wonder if I'll get a shark's tooth?

It is so nice to find a dentist you feel comfortable with, because lets face it, going to the dentist is usually not fun.

That's how my YDS's pediatric dentist is. He used to do general dentistry at the children's hospital, so he was already great with kids. YDS was really apprehensive about going there the first time, but he's been so awesome ever since.

When they do the first appointment thing with the kids, they explain everything in great detail and give you a price list of all the work they're going to do. They gave YDS some flavored floss, toothpaste and a toothbrush the first time and he was in love! He gets to pick out stickers and small toys at the end of his fillings/crowns and a new toothbrush every time he goes to the dentist.

I love dentists that I can be comfortable with.
