Default its my fault...i created this.....really...

i have this little glass cube that has an etching inside of two cats hugging each other...(you see these things all over the place and they are cubes of glass with designs etched in them) some people put them on top of lighted bases and the light glows thru them...

well anyway...i got one of those from my in-laws for x-mas....and i put it on a lit base and i like to turn it on at night in the dark and its kinda cool to look at....it probably uses the power of a nightlite bulb if even that....its in the dining room (so i guess i don't really look at it all the time...coz i am in the family room at night) but the point to this whole story is...

it's in the other room...i am in here watching the 'real time' flow by...dh walk in a few minutes ago and i hear the door and then i hear him scream....i throw down this puter and go running in there..."what...what's the matter....." and he just stands there and doesn't say a word but has this awful look on his face and is just standing there.....pointing..... "what...WHAT?"...... he looks at me again...points at the cube and says "we are using electricity..."
    and walks away.....

    geez......what have i done....

And every minute you are away, those real-time posts will be ticking across the screen, off the screen, into FV oblivion....

(Unless you've figured out how to check "today's posts," in which case you have no excuse to sitting in front of the computer all day.)

I have one of those lighted bases. Mine uses clear paperweights.

I'm curious what happens if your hubby gets home quicker than you expect him to, and his tv is unplugged.......who runs faster, you or him?

I'm still trying to get brave enough to do that to his tv here..... but not sure I want to hear him yelling.......what's wrong with my tv......when he goes to use the remote......with my luck, he would come home early.

well he's so slow about doing anything that even if i didn't have it turned on before he got home when i heard him come in i would run to the tv and plug it in...by the time he got to it (sometimes could be as much as the 20 mins needed to have it re-set) i would be in great shape...if it wasn't re-set when he turned it on i would just say "geez...that stupid cable company -WHAT is their problem now..." lol.... the only REAL problem i forsee is if he got home before me...(which would be an extreme rarity) but it could happen....and then the worse could happen...and he could get all mad and then i could make him feel bad about getting so angry at me over a 'material' thing when i am just trying to make his hard earned paycheck stretch farther...blah, blah, blah.... you know...manipulation at its best.... i've decided its worth the chance of having a night of 'grumbling' out of him to be able to have the darn thing off all day....i will get much more enjoyment out of that.....
