New from The North Country
I am from upstate New York. I found this site by searching for free sewing patterns. I love crafting. I do general crafting and consider myself to be a wanna-be sewer and crocheter. I do not know any of the members here. I am married to a wonderful man for a little over 21 years and have a beautiful, amazing daughter who is 18, attending college, and living on her own. We have 3 beagles. I have been working for a little under a year now. I was a stay at home mom while my daughter was at home. But decided to add some extra income to home when she graduated. You know how one day you wake up and it seems like you gained about 20 to 30 pounds over night. Well that is sort of what happened with all our debt. It just seemed that somehow it was overwhelming. That is the main reason I got a job. Right now it seems that the extra income is just being used to catch up on bills and my goal is to get to a point where I can start paying my debts down and put some money away. That is why I am so happy to have found this site. I need all the help I can get. lol I also want a more simple style of living. You feel a sense of acclomplishment when you do something that helps you toward your goal. Even little things like hanging your clothes to dry instead of using your dryer. I know some of these things seem like nickle and dime saving, but I am hoping to nickle and dime my way to my goals. Thank you for providing such an important service for us to all share our ideas and help each other out. I look forward to visiting this site quite often.
