    Default your age....

do you 'look' and 'act' your age....or are you 'wiser beyond' or 'stuck in never-never land'....

would someone who did not know you be able to guess your 'real' age???

I guess I probably look my age its hard not to look 40, w/o surgery. But I am sure that I act younger b/c I have younger kids. Besides if I tell myself I'm younger I won't get so depressed! 40 isn't so old I know but it sure seemed old 10 years ago.

I'm 23. I get told all the time I'm mature beyond my years. Single motherhood does that to you I think.

That's a hard question. But I think as a general rule I have always looked younger and acted older.

As a child I always enjoyed, even preferred, the company of adults to all but my two or three closest friends, because my peers were so "silly," and I have a hard time relating to the teenage emotional roller coaster because I never experienced it. I was dedicated to my studies and lived a very happy, inwardly contained life. I think I was born 40 years old. But I remember being very insulted when someone who just met me for the first time looked at me, and asked if I would be starting junior high in the fall. No, actually, I would be starting college.

Now people meeting me, if the subject of age comes up, almost refuse to believe I am 60, very soon 61, and say I look much younger. I laugh and tell them it's because I'm "pure of heart." They laugh too, and the conversation moves on. I have never once in my life wished I were younger, and I'm very content with my age. Anyway, it would be pointless to not be content with it, right?

I'm a month away from being 60 and I LOVE my age! I LOVE getting older! Mostly I act my age, I guess, whatever that means. But I've been know to get kind of silly at times. Most folks guess me at about 50, and that's OK. I don't really mind one way or another. Bottom line is that I've enjoyed every year of my life and each year is better than the one before!

I'm 38, my body is old (hysteryectomy, hip arthritis with a replacement looming in the future, exceedingly grey hair.....) but I like to say that I am 17 year old stuck in a 38 year old body (I like fast cars, loud music and stuff like roller coasters, etc...)

I had a 15 year old high school gal at church today tell me how shocked she was to hear that I was 38...she thought I was much MUCH younger.....(I love her now!)

I have people tell me that I look younger than my age (another 38 year old), but I feel so much older than my age. Alot of people are shocked to hear that I am the mother of three teenagers....yep started young, but that was due to being told my entire life that I couldn't have children. My first was due on my first wedding anniversary! I feel old due to my lupus...it is kicking my tail right now and the cold isn't helping.

I am 37 almost 38. I always feel that people think that I am younger than I really am. I get called kiddo at work. A nurse once thought that my son was my brother. And I still get carded at stores and resturants.

I believe that being around teenagers a lot keeps me young.

I am 47 and alot of days recently I feel older then that. I am surprised that 47 came so quickly as I swear I was just 17 but then I look at my 20 yr old son and know thats not possible.
I dont know how old people think I am. Noone says. I am not shy saying my age. I have earned every wrinkle and grey hair I have.
I think no matter what age you are the most iimportant thing is your health. If you dont have it life gets so much harder

People are always surprised when they find out I am 56. I've always looked younger than my age, I was in my early thirties and still getting carded. lol I sometimes wonder how I got to be this age... I sure don't feel this old. I've been blessed with good health. Peoplevare surprised to find I have a son that is 35 and another that is 32.

It depends. I tend to look a little younger than my actual age, but I feel much older. I've always felt a bit out of place with people my own age, at least for what the "norm" is around here.
