    Hi all, my name is Jen and I am certainly a newbie. I haven't been involved in a forum like this before.

    How did you hear about frugal village?
    My mom sent me an email about the site.

    What interests you here?
    Budgeting and saving money, and any other household maintenance tips would be fabulous

    What will you contribute?
    I am a huge believer in sharing knowledge so anything that I have I will share. I haven't gone completely through the site yet so I am not 100% sure yet!

    Do you know any other members here?
    I don't believe so but I could be wrong.

    How many kids? Ages?
    I have two fabulous kids, 18 and 17

    Tell us about yourself.
    I am a happily married mom of two that is embracing the new challenges that life is providing.

    Do you own any pets?
    No

    Occupation?
    I work as a Learning Facilitator within the postsecondary education system and with preschool to schoolage special needs children.

    Married or single?
    Very happily married.

    Interests and hobbies?
    Hockey, football, reading, interior design, and spending as much time as I am able with my kids before they leave the nest.

    Thank you all for the welcomes, Darlene my mom wasn't at the time she sent the email but I know she is considering it. Now that I have had a little time to look around I will certainly be nudging her in that direction.
