We Put Our House on the Market!
Yep, we're trying again. Last summer we listed our house and had lots of lookers, but no buyers. And now we listed again. The agent has done a great job in the photos, making it look like something I would want to live in! LOL!
I'm a little nervous about this. I dread the thought of moving, especially to a different state. But we are leaving this in the Lord's hands, knowing that His decisions are wise.
I had not thought about the cost per sq. ft. of our house. The agent calculated it to be $94.00 per sq. ft. I don't know if that is average, high or low. Do you know?Last edited by forHISglory; 02-27-2009 at 02:33 PM.

I have no idea what the square footage of a living residence is. I have never heard it calculated that way. I know when I was renting a store for my business, it was calculated that way, but I've never heard of it for a home!
Good luck, I hope it happens for you! I hate moving too, I have told DH many times...that the only way I'm moving out of this house, is if the kids move me into a home someday!

You can't judge whether $/sf is high or low w/o knowing the region. We don't know where you live.If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

What state will you move too? I hope it works out the way you want it. Just know, you can't move until we meet!

Well, Debbie, I doubt in this market that it will sell anytime soon. So the chances of us meeting are pretty good! And if we sell, we are moving to Iowa.
Saw on the news tonight that you are still scheduled for snow moving in tonight, but looks like we will escape it this time. Or least not have much.Spiritual:

Oh i live about 90 minutes from Iowa/Quad cities.
