Frugal Village Newspaper Column...
I'm famous
! Sara used one of my thread starts in one of her columns this past week...glad my subscription to our newspaper didn't end until today.
The one thing I will miss by not getting the paper is Sara's column...but, since they moved the printing to Walker they have made the mistake of running the same column two times in a row at least 4 times that I'm sure of."Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans." John Lennon
"Infinite goodness has wide arms." Dante

I have never actually read her column except on the fv site. Is there a way to find a local paper that has it?

The Muskegon Chronicle runs it, you could probably call your local paper and ask them if they do...or maybe you could ask Sara

You can contact (e-mail or call, the info is on their site) the managing editor at your local paper and request it online or in print. My blog has some of them archived, too. It runs in a lot of papers and tv station sites, but not daily for all of them. Some papers edit my column, too. So it's not the entire original column sometimes. Even on my blog are edited versions.

Is the column actually called "Frugal Village" or is it called something else? Does anyone know if the Seattle times runs it? I searched on their site and I dont see it. I want to know before I email them.
Btw Sara- how is this recession treating you? Have more papers picked up your column recently?

I have been in Seattle's, but not sure whether or not it's regular and now that I think about it, I'm not sure if it ran in the Seattle newspaper that closed.
It's called Frugal Living by Sara Noel. Also, some papers only run it in print and some only online and some both.If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. I sent a letter to the Times but the PI is shut down except for the online version. I don't know if the PI would be picking up anything new.
