Default Woo Hoo! Deal of the week, or even month!

The local grocery store is having a meat sale. I was able to get Tyson's all natural, no hormones, no antibiotics, boneless, skinless chicken breast for - get this $1.49 a pound! Each pack was 1.5 pounds, around $2 a pack. I couldn't believe it and bought 10 packs. I am contemplating going back and getting more. I am so excited!

Edited to ask - what great deals have you come across lately?

Wow, that is a great price! I definitely would stock up on as much as you have room for!

I haven't seen many great deals lately, but I did just grab two pairs of jeans on clearance at Wal Mart for $5.00 each. I think all of their Faded Glory and Lee Rider jeans are marked down. I really needed some, so that was a great find. Usually don't buy clothes there, but they strategically put them by the check outs, so I saw them on the way out.

Wow that is a a great deal on the chicken breasts. Fill that freezer up! The best deal that I have found on meat recently was ham on sale for .75 a lb. We had it for a meal, sandwiches that week, potato and ham soup and I still have some in the freezer. So I definitely got my money out of it.

That is a good deal, I would also stock up on as much as you can. The best deal I got this month was on shoes for my 10 year old dd. I got her a pair of sketchers for $12 and a pair of Keds for $8. The store was having a bogo 1/2 off sale so the keds ended up being $4. The regular price on both pairs of shoes was $39.99.

I got some boxes of Fiber One cereal bars. 20 bars in each box for $ 1.00

I had no idea hubby liked them. He opened a box up and started eating them. Left them on the table in plain sight so I would know, that he had found my stash. He will eat 90 % or better of any treats that come in this house. Usually I end up setting my portion aside.
The other day I made some scratch muffins. He ate 10 of the 12.

P&C has whole turkey breast this week at .99 a pound. I bought one today. Still have a few left in the freezer from the last sale.

Had to buy chicken today...the best I could do was $1.99/lb. for boneless skinless breast. Still cheaper than the $2.69 it usually is.

    That was a great deal.

My great deals this week were:

99 cents per pound Foster Farm split chicken breasts. I got 6 lbs.
97 cents for a dozen eggs. I got 2 dozen (I would get more but we don't use a lot and didn't want them to go bad)
    $2.99 Dreyers Ice Cream (I got 3)
    $1.77 Eggo Waffles (I got 4)
$2.50 Hungry Man (I got 4 for DH school nights)
($10 coupon for next purchase for spending $25 on qualifying frozen foods)
99 cent box of Kellogg's frosted mini wheats
    $10 off instantly when I spent $50
